Crane Arcade’s New Prizes

kasumi prize aou

It’s a sad truth that arcades in the UK have just about all dies off and arcades ion the US are heading the same way. Why would you want to go to an arcade and pay a fortune to play a game loads of times, most of which you can’t save and re-visit? With the growing popularity of online play and ever decreasing cost of consoles and games, having your own gaming machine and still being able to play your friends even when they’re not around seem like the way to go.

Strangely it would seem Japan doesn’t agree and I’m glad they don’t! I spent loads of time as a kid socialising and playing games in arcades and I like to think that shaped me into the strange person I am today. Anyway, to keep people interested Japan arcades give away prizes to happy gamers. Think bingo but less old smelly people and more games.

Anyway, Crane arcades have just shown off their new line of prizes and although the vast majority were plushy tosy there were a few that caught our attention…

I want a Ray Ainame. Evangelion is still the only anime I really love.
